All tubular filters are available with manual or automatic control and a wide variety of filter media. |
Durco/Ascension Pressure Leaf Filters
Durco/Ascension Pressure Leaf Filters are designed for high flow rate batch filtration with 2-6 wt% solids loadings.
They are available in either wet cake (sluicing) or dry cake (vibrating) discharge models.Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filters maximize filtration area while Vertical Pressure Leaf Filters minimize footprint. Steam jackets are available for all Durco/Ascension Pressure Leaf Filters. A wide variety of filter leaf media are available including screened, metal and polypropylene with cloth bags. Pump, pre-coat and admix skids are available with full instrumentation and integrated controls. |
Durco/Ascension Pressure Nutsches
Durco/Ascension Pressure Nutsches are ideal for piloting of new or modified batch processes or for full-scale applications requiring recovery of the filter cake.
![]() Durco/Ascension Pressure Nutsches are designed to incorporate multiple processes within the vessel such as steaming, sparging, drying, or washing. A wide variety of solids loading and flow rates including intermittent feeding can be accommodated. Filter cakes can exceed several inches in thickness. Manual versions or hydraulically actuated, full automated versions are available for custom process applications. |
Durco/Ascension Filter Presses
Durco/Ascension Filter Presses are designed for batch operations with liquids containing high solids concentrations or slurries (3-30 wt% solids).
Durco/Ascension offers 2 filter press design configurations: 1) the Durco/Ascension EP Sidebar Filter Press features economical operation, using only factory air utility, and 2) the Durco/Ascension QP Overhead Filter Press offers enhanced performance in severe applications. Both models can be equipped with Automatic Shifters, Drip Trays, Cake Chutes and Conveyors. A full range of automation is available from manual operation to fully automatic. |
Durco/Ascension Sludge Dryers
Durco/Ascension Enviro-Dri Sludge Dryers are designed for supplemental dewatering of sludge cake (>25wt% solids) up to 90%, greatly reducing waste volume and weight.
The Durco/Ascension Enviro-Dri Sludge Dryer is typically used in conjunction with a filter press where the cake discharges directly into the dryer. This integrated design provides a small footprint.Low-pressure steam (<25 psi) contained in a steam jacket provides highly efficient heating energy, while the sludge cake is mixed within the dryer. Manual or hydraulic operation is available for inlet and outlet doors. |
